Biodynamic cider apples, natural ferments and aged in bottle on lees for 5 years, Bobar’s first release of cider. It’s crystalline and precise with bone-china delicacy and great clarity of character. So approachable and delicious. Balanced, fresh and flavoursome with layers of complexity under the pure apple fruit characters.

Grown by Ian Cuming at Beenak Farm in the Upper Yarra Valley, the Bobar 2018 Yarra Valley Cider is a blend of unknown English and French cider varieties. The fruit was milled, macerated and pressed before natural fermentation in old oak casks. Bottle fermented in 2018 and aged on lees for 5 years, it was recently hand-disgorged. 320 bottles produced.
